Resistance now wears color – Why we must make our stance visible
NO PLACE FOR HATE – that's not just a slogan. It's a promise. A stance. A clear line in a time when right-wing hate speech is growing louder and fundamental democratic values are faltering.
We live in a society where feminism is no longer just a nice-to-have, but a protective shield. For many. For us. For those who are repeatedly targeted by hate, incitement, and violence.
Our brand was feminist from the beginning. Loud. Uncomfortable.
But today? Is that no longer enough?
The shift to the right in Germany can no longer be ignored. The AfD sits in parliaments and on talk shows – with contemptuous statements that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. Racism, anti-feminism, homophobia – these are no longer fringe opinions. It's a calculated strategy. It's political. It's dangerous. And it's deadly.
Silence was never our language.
But now, looking becomes a stance. Now it's time to show your colors.
Not just in the heart, not just in the head – but visibly. On the streets. In everyday life. In resistance.
Because:
When right-wingers demand that people “should get out”,
when anti-trans campaigns sweep through schools,
when black, queer and migrant people no longer feel safe –
then it’s not just “about politics”.
Then it's about life. About dignity. About the future.
And us?
We do not remain neutral.
Neutrality is a privilege. One we don't want to take advantage of.
Because when right-wing agitation grows, when the AfD is made into an “alternative” –
then resistance is mandatory.
Our new collection is exactly that:
A response to the shift to the right.
A no to racism.
A no to the normalization of right-wing narratives.
A no to the AfD.
But also a yes.
A yes to solidarity.
A yes to diversity.
A yes to a society in which everyone has a place – and no one has to be afraid to be themselves.
"No Place for Hate" is written on our pieces,
but it also stands for everything we believe in.
This clothing isn't silent. It's loud. It's uncomfortable. It's confronting.
Because we know: Statements on T-shirts are not a solution –
but they can start having conversations, showing attitudes, opening up spaces.
Whether in a club, at university, on the street or in the supermarket:
When you wear these pieces, you are wearing more than one outfit.
You have attitude.
You carry resistance.
You carry a promise to all who have to fight every day:
We see you. We stand with you. And we won't stop being loud.
No place for hate.
Not here. Not today. Not with us.
With love, anger and attitude,
– Your Equal Rebels 💜
