Kämpfen für Gleichheit: Warum der Feministische Kampftag wichtig ist

Fighting for Equality: Why Feminist Day is important

Dear readers,

On March 8 of each year, people around the world gather to celebrate International Women's Day, also known as International Women's Day. It's a day to celebrate the achievements of women in all walks of life while drawing attention to the existing inequalities and challenges women still face around the world. International Women's Day reminds us that equality has yet to be achieved. Women still earn less than men for the same work, and many struggle to reach leadership positions in the workplace. Women also still experience widespread violence and discrimination based on their gender, and their reproductive rights are restricted or denied entirely in many countries. Yet this day is also an opportunity to highlight the progress women have made in recent years. More and more women are taking on important roles in business, politics, and culture, fighting for their rights and the rights of other marginalized groups. As feminists, we must continue to strive for a world where women are equal and free from discrimination. We must fight to eliminate the gender pay gap, for women's right to bodily autonomy, and against all forms of violence and harassment. Let's celebrate International Women's Day by committing to fighting for a fairer and more equal world. We must focus on the common goals that unite us and continue to strive for equality and justice so that every woman has the opportunity to realize her full potential.

In solidarity and equality,

Alina
